Anaheim Disneyland RV Park (Became the Good Sam's Member) |
Since
we brought the Trailer home on Feb. 2001. This is our 1st try run. We
had flatted tire at RV Park just right at time that we arrived there.
After Edward sweat a lot on Saturday night for hour. We decided to call
AAA next day morning. Due to we don't have enough height "Jack".
Sunday morning, we also found the leakage on the propane tank. The broken
neck of the shower. Thanks God. Without this trial trip, how we going
to survive at the next trip to Yosemite??:)

Yosemite National Park |
Very
nice trip!! Natural wild life & red wood forest around. Gorgeous glacial.
A car in front of us accidentally slides down a big carton from his car
to us while our car is driving on the highway. Edward thought our tire
was flatted again. Since we all heard the big noise. Thanks God. Everything
is all right. The next day of the trip, Edward cannot go to work, due
to he got the fever & I think he was under too much pressure in order
to accomplish this trip. Thank you. Honey. :)

San Diego Metro KOA Kampground (Became the KOA Member)
|
We
went to Mexico-Perto Novievo again for the lobster. After 8 years haven't
been there myself. Grandma was very happy. She went to that little fisherman
Village more than 10 times between the year 1989 to 1994. We still went
to the "Ortega Restaurant" to have our usual meal. For now,
I would say the El Torito's Margarita still the best. Sunday we went to
Legoland in San Diego. We forgot to put the sun block lotion. Everyone
got different degree sunburn. I can still feel the sting on my both upper
arms. It's a lesson. I won't forget the Sun Block Lotion at next trip
to Big Bear-Serrano.

It was a wonderful trip to Arizona in the summer, before kids going back to school. Edward was really anxious to escape from the office. There's no doubt that it was a most fantastic trip in our trailer tour record. But Edward was the only driver for the whole trip, poor man, we all appreciate his efforts for our family. :) With that, he deserved a big "family kiss" from all our family members. Day 1. We were on the road & it took Edward 8 hours to get to our KOA campground. (10:00am to 6:30pm) There was a nice indoor swimming pool & bathroom, we had a good rest that night. Day 2. We wake up early to catch Grand Canyon Railway. That was the trailhead for our journey to the Grand Canyon. Ride a historic train to the Grand Canyon. Our children were had great moment on the train...Also, we had a nice lunch rest at resort hotel, the Fray Marcos. After returned to Williams, since only 5:00pm, we went to a local Deer Farm & met couple hundred deers & some wild animals. That was a fun time there as well. After we back to our campground, we jumped into swimming pool for hours, we had a beautiful day! Day 3. Edward
drove 2 hours to Sedona to experience while exploring the majestic red-rock
canyons on a Pink Jeep Tour. We all totally surprised what we were actually
had. The company offer this tour is called "Pink Jeep'. As you see
the picture you can feel it that was a Broken Arrow tour. That's
really the name the company call this tour. If you looking for something
special to celebrate your life, (Ha-ha-ha) or you seeking for a rugged
adventure, Native American History and Culture, or panoramic vistas then
this will be the right tour for you. Day 4. Home
sweet home. :) |

Big Bear Lake- Serrano- The campground opened in the 1990s. | That was the day we saw the fire from the mountain. I cannot recall the fire last for how many day, but that was something big to remember. This was the only trip that Grandmom did not join us. She was planning to do some shopping for her another trip to Taiwan in September 9/11, later she changed her trip to Taiwan on 9/13/02. |

Pacific Palms Resort Hotel |
We canceled the trip to Spain, due to the airline flight was canceled. What do we do for this special holiday? Well, I decided to invite our good neighbor Eric's family & my sister-Jennifer's family to have a unique Xmas buffet at the area's most exciting restaurant on top of the Industry Hill-Pacific Palms Resort Hotel. The name of the Restaurant is called "Cima. Cima offers a lively atmosphere with impeccable service, majestic views and an expansive deck for outdoor dining. After the lunch, we walked out to refresh ourselves by looking down the hills & the Eisenhower and Zaharias, both championship 18 hole golf courses, are the center of all recreational activities at Pacific Palms. Famous for their long fairways, 160 sand bunkers, 8 lakes, and large undulating bent grass greens, both courses are considered among the best layout in Southern California. Charles & Andrew was took their swimming class here from May to July, 2002. This is one of a few places that I never get tired to visit. |

DisneyLand & California Adventure Park |
What can we do to celebrate our New Year Eve? Good-bye 2002 & hello to 2003. Again, we signed up our family became deluxe Disney Annual Passport Member tonight. We were celebrating our New Year Eve with at least 30,000 to ???,??? people together tonight. Looked at the big crowd!! We got stuck on the train station & at least we took 2 to 3 times of the same train tour. We have no way to go anywhere. Of course we watched the fabulous firework on the train. That was super gorgeous!! May God bless everyone on the earth. Peace on earth! Happy New Year!! :) |

Newport Dunes Resort & Catalina Island
|
We left our house in the late afternoon. When we arrived there is almost 6pm. But we had a nice walking inside the RV Park. Newport Dunes Resort is set in a pretty spot on the bay, with a beach, boat ramp, and storage area providing bonuses. It is situated on 100 acres of Newport Bay beach, beautiful and private, without public access. That is why this RV park is the most expensive in the Western U.S. Corona del Mar State Beach to the west and Crystal Cove State Park to the south provide possible side trips. The park is five minutes' walking distance from Balboa Island, and is next to the largest estuary in California, the Upper Newport Bay Ecological Reserve. Grandma got up very early with Andrew. When they returned into our trailer, they were very exciting to tell us that there were hundreds of the ducks on the sea. We took another morning walk again alone the beautiful lagoon & then we drove down to Long Beach to catch our boat-Catalina Express. We had another fun trip there again at Catalina Island. We actually returned home on the following Monday noon. We back to work in the afternoon. Kids just rest at home. It's their day off. Martin Luther's Day. After the trip, Grandma told us that she is interested in buying a house that close to the beach. Well, we told her that right now is not the right moment to buy any property. |

Mexican Riviera Princess Cruise Vacation |
We just got back from our Mexican Riviera Vacation. The total distance on the sea was 2,307 Nautical Miles. Note: 1 Nautical Miles= 1.15 Statute Miles= 1.85 Kilometers= 6,076 Feet.We had a wonderful time with our family all together & grandmother included-together in one place is tricky enough. But with the 5 stars Princess Cruise, from toddlers to seniors, we were all pleased & enjoyed very much! We did some classic reunion stuff: group portraits, chess game, breakfast, lunch, and afternoon tea time. Severn days allowed us to schedule plenty of group activities (watched movie everyday in the Princess Theater, swimming, Gymnasium (my favorite) & Spa (grandmas favorite), art auction, shopping, grown-ups formal dinner, even took the art class to learn to make the flowers & boxes) our kids enjoyed the fun zone, that is a school setting class room. They can do art work, game, movie in there. We celebrated Andrews 5 years old birthday (his birthday is March 15) & me & Edwards eighth anniversary. This is really a terrific vacation. By the way, with all these non-stop eating, thanks God we didnt get too much weight. Is that nice?! ........ |
