Wednesday

Daddy Edward is on a business trip at South Carolina this whole week. I have no choice but in charge to take our kids to school every morning now. Normally this is Edward's duty. It's always rush in the morning. Edward has stronger heart to take this duty.

This morning, Nellie had dentist appointment at 9:30am. Grandma sent Nellie to school after e the dentist visit. After I dropped off Charles & Andrew to school, I soon went to work at 8:45am. But 9:40am I clocked out again. I had to go to my kids school to see our Andrew getting an award at the school chapel. When I walked into the Chapel. One parent told me that Charles just received a special Character Award from school, which I didn't aware of it. I am sure Charles didn't know that either. That sounds great. Congratulation to Charles. It only took a minute to wait for the meeting began, I soon saw our little Andrew standing in front of me with a big smiling face. He was very happy to see me show up there. I still remembered that two days ago, Andrew brought home a note from teacher & indicated that Andrew will receive an award on Wednesday, please keep it as a secrete & not tell the child. But, how can that be? Our Andrew handed that note at dinner time& read it to everyone in a very loud voice. So, today's award is not a surprise to Andrew. But, I am sure it's a surprise to Charles today though. What a nice day! Two of my boys received award from school! This is a beautiful day. In fact, this week so far, Charles, Andrew & Nellie are doing great at school. Tomorrow Nellie going to take the her first Piano lesson with Charles & Andrew. Nellie going to take the beginner class at Ms. Barbara's class. I am sure she'll enjoy it very much.

By the way, Edward was caught cold in South Carolina. His voice sounds like an old grandpa. I talked to him at work this evening. I told him don't call us tonight but have more rest. Poor Edward, he still going to present the training to his software users tomorrow. That means he has to non-stop talking for two more day. Well, God bless you, honey.

Monday

It was another busy weekend! Andrew had a good bye Pizza party with his soccer team players last Saturday noon time. I was ran in a hurry to pick them up from the Chinese school at noon & flew down the pizza party. Andrew had lots of fun doing the soccer practice this fall & I am sure Andrew will continue to enroll the next season as well.

Last Sunday morning our 3 kids had choir performance at the church. I sent them to church at 9:00am & when we left the church was around 12:00pm. We went home pick up Daddy & go get our lunch at El Polloco. Charles had Go game at 1:30pm. Edward is the important key mentor to Charles. Whenever he is in town, Edward always go take the go game with Charles. So far, Charles has very good improvement. I have to thanks to Edward's nice mentorship to Charles.

After the Go game, we stopped by the Disney Store at West Covina Mall to pick up the new released DVD movie "Finding the Nemo". That was Nellie's birthday gift from our good neighbor-Eric, Christina & Alan. When we arrived home was around 4:21pm. Since we had morning church choir performance, our kids has no choir class in the afternoon. So, our good neighbor Alan was came to our home to have some fun time with our kids. We watched the movie "finding the Nemo". I made a pop corn for them, I cooked the yummy orangerough fish, mi so soup & scrambled eggs with tomatos plus the passion love berries smoothie for everyone to enjoy. We had a good time together.

I am happy. My family is a loving one. what more can I ask for. I feel truly blessed and give thanks everyday for who I am and the life i live. I can only wish on this coming thanksgiving day that everyone could be as happy as I am. I don't know what a bad life is. I don't know what not being loved is. I don't know what its like to have a bad family with negative influences. I've worked hard all my life and have lived a clean life, now as I'm older, I'm reaping the rewards of living this way. yes, life is good......and for that I am very thankful.

Tuesday is Veterans Day, but our kids school make today Monday as the Veterans Day off. Edward & I still have to work today, but we went home to pick up our kids & grandma to China Buffet had a big lunch feast for 2 hours.

Wednesday

It's December now! The holidays seasons is near and I'm already hunting for answers to please from family members asking, "What do you want for Christmas?" Different families do different things for the holidays. Oh, to be a kid again with my Christmas wish list! But now it seems that, as I've gotten older and accumulated more stuff, this question gets harder to answer, because there really is nothing I need, let alone want. I've got about all the things I can get. I am a lucky girl!

Each December, families begin to decorate their homes, inside and out. They get out the special Christmas dishes to use during the holidays.

The Christmas photo album is proudly displayed for all to enjoy. The favorite Christmas stories and books are set out. The traditional nativity scene is carefully set up. The house is filled with Christmas music and the sweet smell of baking. It is truly a time of preparation and joy.

We'll travel to Taipei, Taiwan at Xmas time to visit our kids grand parents & at least another 5 uncles, 7 aunts, 8 cousins. Edward's parents which are our kids grandparents are live in Taipei. They are still healthy in a good shape. But for such long hours flight (11 to 14 1/2 hours) between Taipei to Los Angeles is, they have no more interest to take the flight. They were quit to take the flight to visit us since 3 years ago. Now, it's our term. we feel we should bring our kids to visit their grandparents. That's why we decided to visit them this year. We'll have a big family reunion event in Taipei at Xmas time. After our wonderful sunny vacation in West Caribbean & Florida, Our kids are getting used to take this kind of long hour travel. Thanks God, we have very energetic children, they are just so motivated & flexible! I love them so much!

We just had a great Thanksgiving vacation at Florida, Walt Disney World & West Caribbean! We had big Thanksgiving feast on the cruise. That was wonderful! Well, I should say after non stop 24 hours eating, I am totally stuffed. With no doubt,we had all the best meals during our vacation. Thanks God, we didn't gain any weight though!

Our company is extremely busy this year! Now we need to put more extra time to work in order to catch up what we had missed while we went on vacation at Thanksgiving time plus get more work done before the coming up trip to Taiwan at Christmas time, since we have to take another 7 work days off. So, at this moment, it’s nothing I can tell you but BUSY at work!

By the way, we just had our company annual Xmas & New Year Party at Pacific Palms Conference Resort-Cima Restaurant. We were there last Friday night. Everything went well, it was an awesome party. Everybody happy that makes me feel great! Their seafood buffet is wonderful! This year our drawing prizes were quite good as usual. We offered the 20" LCD Flat TV, Canon Camcorder, Sony Home Theater System, HP 3 in one office machine, Sony Mini digital CD/MP3 recorder/player, Digital phone, etc. This is another wonderful year. We thanks for God that always bless and supply our needs.

Andrew going to attend his Kindergarten's Christmas Program this Thursday. He will sing by himself in the chapel, our entire family will attend his program to hear his solo part & the rest of the program that he will sing with his classmates together. He is very exciting. I am very proud of Andrew.

Charles going to have their annual elementary Xmas program at the local church next Tuesday at 6:30pm. He will sing with all his classmates together. I know he will sing 7 songs. That will be very fun. Every time when you watch Charles singing with motion. He is so enjoy in the music. He always acts like a dancer. Anyway, it will be a busy week to us. We are soon going on our 3rd Annual vacation next Friday! Merry Xmas & Happy New Year!!

Friday

Last night our entire family went to watch Andrew's Christmas Program at his school chapel. He had a very perfect performance. We really proud of Andrew. He has beautiful voice like angel plus he does not afraid of face to the audience. Our kids going to attend additional 3 Christmas Choir program this Saturday & Sunday with their church friends. Next Tuesday night will be Charles's Xmas Program. Oh! I almost forgot our good neighbor-Alan's 8 years old birthday is tomorrow-Dec. 13. We will be attend Alan's party after our kids regular Chinese School. We are extremely busy this weekend.

Holiday time can be a little overwhelming. Since my schedule has been grueling the past couple of months, I've decided not to decorate our home too much this year, since we are leaving next Friday to Taiwan.

Baking Christmas cookies is what I'm in the mood to do this weekend though. My kids was excited about the idea too, when I asked if they wanted to join me. So this Saturday we'll be rolling and cutting out trees, snowmen, stars, and bells. We'll weave together red and white candy canes and decorate spritz cookies.

It may seem like a lot of work, mixing the batter, rolling out the dough, cutting the shapes, baking, frosting and decorating, but to me, making cookies this year will be a labor of love--which is really what the holidays are all about.

Thursday

Edward & I are so busy at work this week! But we still don't want to miss the new release of the final installment, "The Return of the King." Last night-Dec. 17, right after I finished the bed time story at home with my 3 kids, Edward called me from work at 9:55pm. Since I know he'll on-line order the tickets for the movie.I kind of expecting his call. He wanted to meet me at AMC theater at 10:10pm. With no surprise, our cars was arriving the theater at the same time. That was 10:10am. He ran to the ticket box to get the ticket & I went to snack bar to get Pop Corns. We found the only seats at the end corner of the theater. Right after we sat back, without any waiting time, the movie began. Isn't cool?

Like its predecessors, "Return" is gorgeous, grand in scope and packed with exceptional performances from a group of actors clearly in tune with the mythical poetry and heady, good-must-prevail vision of author J.R.R. Tolkien.

The bottom line, of course, is that "The Return of the King" is an immensely satisfying film, as the endgame to Jackson's trilogy. Millions of people have seen and loved the first two installments, and this one, clearly, is for them. If you haven't seen the others, it won't make a bit of sense; for the faithful, it's a grand gesture of closure.

After the movie,we returned home at 2:00am, after shower we went to bed at 3:00am. This morning I have to arrive office at 8:00am for a Webinar on the Internet. We only had less than 4 hours sleep this "morning". Oh, plus we skipped the dinner last night but pop corns only.

Tomorrow we still decided to come to work till 11:00am. After that, we'll begin our next fun trip journal with our family. Life is so beautiful with all these exciting things going on. Again, Merry Xmas & Happy New Year!
